I remember when the 9000 series combines came out and I looked at those like they were out of Star Wars as an 8 year old kid. My Dad brought back a sales broucher from the local dealership and I read that thing cover to cover almost everyday. This is great video bringing back some memories!

@@harrydoyle1408 even 8820s weren't bad. But 9000 were easier to repair and service in some parts. The silly controls on the 88s still make me smile. Left of steering wheel was reel, right was header. 😁

1989 first year for those combines iirc. Still had 466 engines then. 55 and 60 series were new. Still had a 43 corn head with metal snouts. A few generations of gear have come and gone 8.1 engine haven’t come yet. Let alone the 9.0.
