RMS BEAUTY UN-COVER-UP CREAM FOUNDATION | Dry Skin Review & Wear Test

I have really dry skin, am also a 00 and I just starting using this foundation about 3 months ago. I am 53 years old and I have received a ton of compliments whenever I wear this foundation. I noticed you use a brush and also a sponge. Neither of those work for me. I use my fingers and the less product, the better. With this foundation, I use touch in sol glassy balm after my usual moisturizer - I let that soak in for about 15 minutes and then I use tarte’s primer around my nose and chin. I do not use powder at all. it lasts me about 9-10 hours. I also started using their blush and eye polish. Love all three products. I would recommend trying this again using your fingers.

Thank you for this review. I have extremely dry skin and would never go near this foundation. First three ingredients are oil and then beeswax AND coconut oil. Only a mannequin could wear this stuff. No way!!

Seriously Great Makeup Day today, looking fab! The finish did look absolutely gorgeous on camera so as you say, this may be a good one for when your skin is extra dry and if you continue to enjoy it you could always pick up some of those blotting papers for long days.

This is exactly the sort of foundation I would have worn in my younger years. I love the makeup look and if it's "greasy" like the Tatcha Dewy, sounds perfect. Although I'll probably never get it since it's so dark. I'm white year round, including summer. I just won't get out in the sun anymore.

There’s definitely a learning curve using this foundation. It took me a while, but I realized less is more. You barely need any of it because if you use too much it feels so thick.

I'm glad I have this as one of my choices. I like it best w/ finger application but do sometimes use a sponge or brush after getting it on. I use it as a very light coverage, no makeup~ish look. Definitely have to set. Wanted to see what you thought of this. I find it interesting. Thanks!

It looks nice, but with a coconut base, I don't know how they say it can be used on oily skin. I personally don't have a problem with coconut, and it's very nourishing on dry skin. Not sure that I would be into a cream foundation. It may tend to feel heavy. Thanks, Shelly. 😊

Hey Leah! Yep we're moved online through at least April 5. It's not a huge change for me, as I taught online for years and years and already have all of my course materials online, even for my in person classes. But it's definitely a stressful change for faculty and students that aren't familiar with working in an online environment. I'm hoping to just simplify and get everybody through it in one piece!

It gets about a half shade darker on me when it sets down. The downside of that is there aren't additional lighter shades in the range to compensate for it.

It's definitely smooth on the skin. However I'm confused about the coconut oil claim on this foundation. It's well known that it can cause acne breakouts. :-/ As much as I love a dewy foundation, this was a bit too as you put it, greasy. Not sure how this can be recommended for combo or oily skin types. Hope you're doing well. :-)

I have found that for cream products like this, warming it on the back of my hand instead of using my palette works much better. This foundation reminds me of the old Max Factor cream foundations (I am 10 years older than you so you might not remember them). Good for stage and camera, a bit too heavy for real life.

Foxymama 2003 I could only use it in winter because I’ve always had combination skin . it gave good coverage and you could keep it in your purse without worrying about spilling.

julie daly My best friend had oily skin and was so jealous that I could wear it and she couldn’t! Now she looks much younger than her age and doesn’t have to spend hours moisturizing her face to keep wrinkles at bay so I think we are even, lol!

Well I have mixed skin with a greasy tendency. I am almost 43 and it looks wonderful on me. A little powder if you must and voilà. Greasy means less wrinkles ladies! Sorry it doesn't work out for you.

The two that are my go-to foundations when I know I'm going to be sweating are Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place and YSL All Hours. Both of them stay put really well!

Ask a dermatologist. Make an appointment. Discover exactly what you need. Have a cream specially formulated to your needs. If you don't know, find out. But your "no cause... No" approach it's irrational. And it's preventing you from information.

Coconut oil seems heavy for a foundation, unless is fractioned coconut oil, I can only use it sparingly. Interesting.

I definitely love mine! I haven't noticed anything being slow. This was the first iPhone model in a long time that truly impressed me (primarily due to how much better the camera is than my previous iPhones). And I get every new release on launch day (it's part of my Sprint plan) - so I've tried them all!

Geek Out of Water I wish I would’ve got that plan when they did it! I also have sprint! I just ordered the pro max in gold because they didn’t have white. I went back and forth on the black and gold It took me hours to decide and now that I ordered the gold I’m like oh man should’ve got the black lol I think I’ve had them all too, since the 4 anyways. I don’t think I got the 8 now that I think of it. It was like 7 straight to X in my mind I can’t even remember it launching 🤔🤔 I don’t think my front camera needs to get any better! The better they get the worse it makes me look lol they were out of all the Max’s there for awhile so I couldn’t get it up until now, I think because of all the virus stuff that was going on. I’m excited for it! Samsung intrigued me with that new 5g phone they have that cost more than the max with the 100x zoom but I couldn’t bring myself to going back to android after all this time!
