Part 1 - 45min Race - PCGB Round 10 - Thruxton - 7th Nov 2010.wmv

On-board footage from the first part of the 45min Endurance Race for Round 10 of the PCGB Karting Championship from Thruxton kart track, next to the main motor racing circuit, about 5 miles West of Andover & easy to find off the M3 / A303. The track was very damp & slippery from overnight rain - and I lined up 11th on the grid. Unfortunately I took a couple of big hits in the first corner - which dislodged my camera & mic cables slightly - leading to some break-up of pictures and sound during the race - particularly on tight left handers! Initially the handling of the kart was poor - and I lost a few places in the opening laps - but slowly gained them back as others fell off the track! RM ;-)

Yes - its a good circuit to race on - and the bridge/cross-over is a bit different! There have been issues with big performance differences between their karts - but they got a new fleet this summer - so hopefully the racing should be much closer for a while. RM ;)
