My earliest memories were those of my mother my aunt and uncle and grandmother all cooking in the kitchen, playing the very best of Sinatra during Thanksgiving and Christmas. And I associate the best Italian food a young boy could have with his signature voice. They were wonderful times! I'm the only one left but now I cook and listen to Sinatra and my daughters hear it like I did and I hope they can make that association as well, Even though I destroy my grandmother's meat sauce recipe😂.

big mood, modern music is great, has effort as much as music from this era. and fun fact is, frank sinatra himself also learned and adapted to new technology, and even grew to respect modern music of the times, such as the beatles. boomers should know that.
@skeettheman40614 жыл бұрын
@@franksonatra im not a boomer but some of the music past 2015 was horrible. I noticed a trend of over robotic voice, tin drums. Don't get me wrong, i like modern music prior to this trend. Of coarse im talking about radio music. You could still find good modern songs, but non over fabricated music is sadly considered dead to me. Even modern metal and rock is bad, infact its worse than pop. Rock and metal is pretty much dead

The great Sonny Payne. Allegedly Frank's favourite drummer. There are plenty of live Sinatra performances of this song with different outfits available here, but with Sonny it's transformed. The live "Sinatra At The Sands" album is all here, and it's as much a tribute to Sonny Payne as it is to FS.
