Yeah the pubs are just like this here, but it's like anything, some nights the music is good, some nights the music is crap, and some nights there's no music at all. I know that the video makes it look idyllic, but believe me, although he does have an amazing singing voice, he probably only sings every once in a while. But do visit, we love Vikings :)

I think Liverpool might have been the first stop for a lot of Irish emigres. My grandmother was the youngest child in her family. Her older siblings were all born in Tuam, County Galway, she was born in Liverpool, and the whole bunch of them ended up in Canada. I imagine a lot didn't take that last step to North America and stayed in Liverpool.
