First race of the day on Sunday, May 19th 2019 at High Plains Raceway in Colorado for the Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing Spring Grand Prix. This run group was Formula Vee, F5000, FB, FSV, and sports racers. My first ever proper race, so I was a bit gun-shy about passing. Also, my shifting, line, etc. were sub-optimal in many cases. Still a PR for me (which was improved significantly at another race later that day).
There were several incidents recorded in this video. The first was at 13:38 towards the top of the screen, in turn 1. I believe that two FSVs and a Vee were involved, though only one FSV and the Vee left the track.
The second was around 18:54, in which a white (silver?) FSV collected a maroon Vee just before turn 4. Apparently, the FSV suffered a mechanical failure; note the very unnatural and extremely abrupt turn to the left by the white FSV just before contact. It's hard to tell due to KZbin's compression, but a review of the source video shows the FSV lurched to the right just before coming back across the track to the left.
