Never seen that grill before, always something interesting on your channel Bob! We got nailed with that smoke for over a week up here and it really did a number on my breathing. Weather finally turned for the better yesterday and blew it outta here, thankfully.

It is a nice portable grill for quick meals. Easy to clean too. Are you up in Nor Cal? My daughter lives in the Bay Area and the air was bad for a week too.

@@rmwtsou I've been living in Oregon now for the past couple years, but lived in Santa Cruz prior to that. It's been a crazy year for both areas!

Thanks for the video, in other videos I see that the meat burns on the outside. That didn't happen to you. I think the secret is to use little carbon. I am writing to you from Argentina, here there is only charcoal, there are no briquettes. I wanted to know how it affects the flavor of the meat depending on the type of "fuel" you use to burn it?
@rmwtsou2 жыл бұрын
Tastes about the same whether you use charcoal or briquettes. Perhaps charcoal is a little better. Thanks for watching!

You need flames for steak otherwise you wont sear it or caramelise the fat, they look good for cooking chicken and meats that you dont want direct heat
@theldun14 жыл бұрын
Looks very tasty!

Wouldn't it be easier to put the charcoal in the basket before placing the basket above the fire starters?
@rmwtsou3 ай бұрын
So so sure. Then the charcoal will fall off all over the place, as you notice the "basket" has no rim. As long as it gets done, it doesn't really matter which way you do it.

Never seen one of these, it looks rather interesting.

It is like a small Big Green Egg without ceramics. Use only 7 - 10 briquettes at a time. I did a whole chicken in it in 2.5 hours. Bought one for my daughter too. Now it is entirely stainless steel. Recommended!

Soooo, you could probably clean the grill with your CLP Powder Blast? Too soon? ;-) Hey I'm just having fun! Seriously, that steak looked so yummy and there's not much better in life that a medium ribeye!!! Bon Appétit, kind sir!
@rmwtsou4 жыл бұрын
Ha ha. That CLP Powder Blaster will probably work well on the grill, too, but it may also blast away my innards. Fortunately, having wrapped the pan with foil made the cleaning job much easier with just a scouring pad and dish soap.
@dgunearthed78594 жыл бұрын
@@rmwtsou like I said just having fun. Wouldn't want anyone using anything but food-grade cleaners on grills! I picked up some new york steaks at the store since they were on sale today. Not as good as a ribeye! But hey, they'll still be good! AND you'd better eat steak NOW, just in case a certain someone gets elected. I wouldn't put it past their party to ban meat. I mean hell you're racist if you work hard and own a house for God's sake!
