Somnacanth Greaves now can add Lv2 Status Sneak Attack, which allow you maximize it with 3 gears instead of 4. Also, you can equip two gears to gain Lv4 and use the remaining gears for other skills.

Most people have the first one and it still works so need to change it. Also making an updated video on the SSA build so saving it for that one. Truthfully there’s no real point in adding in anything else because the damage difference is still really small and the whole point of the build is to inflict status anyways.

For the switch axe, I skip lock on. Not sure why, but I just don't feel like I need it and it has felt more like a trap skill that hinders my game play. Unless I'm using WEX as a crucial skill in my build

Glad to see youre back, hope youve been well and just prioritizing life, especially your mental health... studies? (never been quite sure what stage of that professional career youre personally at, mad props for it though; for very personal reasons i strongly appreciate anyone willing and able to go down that route), rather than burn out or people on the internet generally being dicks causing you to upload less. Glad to have your content back regardless, and while i know youre not a fan of bubbly dance, the switch axe is one of the weapons where i personally love it. The fast hops in sword mode really let you make full use of bubbly dance ‐ the fast nature of them means you will have close to permanent uptime on bubbly dance, bubbly dance mitigates the downside of hops ‐ shorter invulnerability windows and worse mobility ‐ and because the perfect evade window is more generous, its also really nice for more sword-mode uptime. Additionally, outside of the waist with the gold rathian piece, all the other pieces are pretty easy to get as you only need grade 6 to have all the abilities unlocked(+1 driftmelt slot).

Appreciate you! Wrestling has pretty much been the bulk of my absence. Studies are going well taking board exam for LMFT mid next year too. Im acutally with you on the bubbly dance mechanic haha. Sword mode is where you get the most damage and the mechanic makes up for the dodging aspect and positioning you better for the long combos.

Been having a lot of fun with it, and having a one build fits all rather than having to make multiple builds is also much appreciated 😂

Dang, I was hoping that critical ferocity paired with nirgegante avidity and morph boost would make an appearance. I have all my critical element and element weapons set with Longsword. Was hoping for a fun new Raw Switch Axe build to play with to mix it up. I have the ideal Burst 5 build as well, but it makes me sad.

I think Bubble set is the best since the step in Sword mode is too short and you need that evade boost to increase surv., not all of us is the god tier player who can perfect evade all the time.

So I have mixed of g5 g6 gear and it's a bit all over the place due to copying what others use, and what materials is actually available to me. Currently fighting 6 star monsters I have three questions. 1. Is the swaxe a good weapon for end game? 2. I am a filthy casual and I don't want to build several sets of weapons and armors. Should I just pick one of your raw or status builds in the video? Or do I need to build raw and all elements swaxes and armors to reach the later difficulties? 3. I can't kill slos by myself, what is a good alternative

I just got 500 Silver Rathalos kills less than an hour from them no longer spawning. I need 8 more Silver Rathalos plates and I'll have both the critical element pieces maxed out :) 3 weeks until I can do that. Note: I already have my 10-5 LS.

May I know is it critical build higher damage than elemental attack build?

It just depends but early on you should go after elemental attack. Crit builds only matter near max and even then you can still use EA5.

hey king what do u think about this Silver rathalos head and greaves and kushala chest, arms and coil for ice build and langombi switch axe for the lock on

I am no king but kushala is hard to farm. 3 armors of kushala is crazy grind. And lagombi weapons are overshadowed by barioth and legiana. Barioth has affinity to help crit element, and legiana has the highest ice element plus element phial. If you need lock on, just go for rathian arms.

EA5+CE5+WEX1+CritEle1 is stronger... yea doesnt have lockon. For water Coral Pukei is stronger due to higher base element and element phial giving more percentage than power phials, same for cold and legiana, silver rrath is just hard to access, beside that anja is the best.

Not if your using Mizutsune weapons which are stronger than coral if you take it into account. In other words silver rath is worth it if you put the work in to get it.
