I do like and respect Tank for bringing True R&B Legends but because the Whispers are my favorite than all, I am hurt to hear the twins using profanity that makes me re-evaluate my listening for their music. Beside the Lord, I have always been attentive to the Whipers singing. I love them for ever and a day just do not like the profanity that comes from one of the twins mouth. I will listen to their music but not when they are giving information about the past and the future about R&B because the cursing language. However, inspite of, I am a Whispers fan for live when they are singing. Love and Blessings

The cursing is just an expression of how they were treated in the past and how different the industry is today. I'm sure there has been times when you had a situation where you was mad and used a few curse words we are all human and no one is perfect . I'm glad that they shared the information about the industry in the past and what they went through to pave the way for the artist of today. The Whispers have and always will be my favorite group.They suffered a lot of racism and still made it to be one of the greatest R&B groups of all times who have not received the recognition that they truly deserve . i didn't take the cursing as a bad thing the hosts were cursing also but everybody has their own opinion 5u

That cursing is part of their genuine and non fake portrayal, but honestly telling their story.. their “truth” told freely, at ease, authentic and to be oneself in unscripted interview before maybe millions.. if there were rules, such as no profanity, then the host of the show would not have opened the door by using curse words, really part of cognitive expression, however a turnoff for some are non-offensive to the majority viewer-listeners. Only God knows the ❤️ of man.. He does not judge imperfect people living in an imperfect world bc of His forgiveness still in 21st Century.. it’s like what century do we live in !? ✝️💕☮️

My Dad would be washing his car and we would have WBLS radio station from New York bumping from the living room. @@robertn2813 you know a lot of his music that had love things to him weren't considered to be ballets because they were more mid to up-tempo. They're AKA his estate are going to remake a lot of his love songs into ballads. Though many of Luther songs were love oriented miniware mid-tempo to up-tempo and that is what removes most of his music from being ballads. Luther did not like slow tempo songs you remember him first coming out he arranged his vocals and his lyrical content to be like that of scatting or even rapping. Luther was heavy on that type of stuff those vocal tricks in Word play sensibilities

I love, love, love the Whispers. I had their very first album and became a fan for life. I have attended almost every concert when they came to the DMV area. The professionalism,quality and the unity they have exemplified will live forever. It would be nice if the younger artists would show their appreciation by including the Whispers in their music. I grew up in Watts and I attended a Jordan High school talent show in 1970. It was a big event! I was on a week long punishment and played my parents against each other to go. When I got home my dad said, "did you have a go time?" I replied, yes with excitement. He said , "good cause you're on punishment for 3 months." It was worth it.🙂😘 💐🌷⚘️ for the Whispers.

I fell in Luv with The Whispers with their 1974 album "Bingo"...every single song was so absolutely beautiful... I sang What More Could a Girl Ask For all day long...my mama was like thats the most beautiful song I ever heard...and she loved Billie Holiday..so that compliment meant a whole lot!... then they stepped up the heat again in 1980..I luv The Whispers and I miss the members who left us...Luv Yall Forever and Forever..please never stop doing it!
