“You in the Winnebago getting checks.” Ryan Toby so cold especially with his artistry and his talent. Just watching his enthusiasm of music is just beautiful and he is definitely necessary for R&B. The fact that he kept his humility when he was beginning to rise to such a testimony to how he was raised as a man and his enthusiasm for the love of the pen is just another example of why he has endured in the writing game. “PRESS IN” he’s a church kid. The fact that he wanted one thing (SINGLE ARTIST DEAL) early on and kept a heart for the “magic of making music” is a reason he’s still here 30+ years later shows his worth. Look at y’all got him talking his shit “both albums did 50 million by the way “ I love that he is also taking in advice from other successful people in the industry. And the fact this podcast show greats bouncing off each other and giving each other their flowers is a great example of loving and respecting one another. Ryan Toby and Ms. Lauryn Hill are the catalyst of why I was interested in music. I went to a predominantly black Christian school from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Sister Act 2 came out in 1993. I was 3 years old at the time. So by the time I was 5 years old, the film was apart of my DNA. Every other Friday or so, teachers at the Christian school would put Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit on the time I was in Kindergarten all the way up until I graduated in 5th. Most children would attempt to sing 'Oh Happy Day' and that high note. I grew up ALL of my middle school and high school career with Sister Act 2 as my favorite movie. I greatly appreciate R&B Money Podcast for having one of my early musical heroes to be interviewed.

Ryan's laughter is contagious. Loved his storytelling. I saw Sister Act 2 in the theater! I remember my dad took my brother and I. Shout out Gram Fam!

Speak Valentine, speak! Success is where it finds you. Artistry is such a beautiful and sacred gift in itself. To share and make a great living is an even more incredible gift and blessing. A win is a win! It's great to hear you recognize it and not others set the standards of victory for your life. I absolutely love this podcast, the guests, the celebration of Artistry, the stories, the antics and humor, along with the passion and joy of each amazing story and episode. Thank you, guys, for sharing these gifts from you and all your guests. I'm hooked! ❤
