I didn't know the meaning of the lyrics in the first time i watch her singing. But first impression when she's singing is a really sad song. Then here comes the bad news... I search for the translation.... I'm speechless with tears flowing down on my cheeks when watch this song again. Se said...Akin ka nalang.... Giliw... "Please just be mine...darling... " and followed with first whistle.... Stab right in my Heart. Oh my God....and the end parts are compared to millions of sadness and tons of hope... Philippines.... You have a very very very very talented phoenix with heavenly voice.

New subscriber here. That is my favorite part, too. I mean, I'm impressed with the whistle but the last part is truly heavenly. Even with the high note, she sounded so sweet and magnificent. No crack or even a strain/struggle. Most reactors who watched this video were impressed with the whistle note and the last part. It's surprising that another reactor (you) appreciate this performance because of another reason, and that's her RUNS. And while you're watching the video, I can't help it but to feel emotional too. I was riding the bus once when this stranger was sitting opposite me and his head was turned sideways and then suddenly he turned and stared at me intensely for about 8 seconds. He had such a radiant look that it penetrated straight into my heart and soul. Same when I hear great emotionally impactful songs. (no need to put either on KZbin if you don’t want... ‘they are for you ) They are both emotionally impactful. KZbin “ Dusty Springfield A House is not a home” a 5 minute rare live clip with Bert Baccarat ( who composed the melody) where they kibitz for awhile , then Bert starts the song on the piano, sings about half and then the camera pans to Dusty and then OMG OMG OMG!!! Better than Luther’s version decades later. After you watch this, you must hear her sing “ yesterday when I was young. KZbin “ Dusty Springfield Yesterday when I was young” ( it’s not live , studio version but please click the one by Veracruz it has the lyrics and nice pics I believe it’s the second one from the top) I’ve watched it 10 times now and each time I get emotionally drained. It’s the story of her tortured troubled life in lyrics and melody note for painful note. My concern is less about her career (I think she's pretty much cemented her presence in the Philippines and in youtube) and more about her mental/emotional health though. My fear is that she'd turn out being like another Britney or wind up doing a "wrecking ball" on herself. Perhaps get an identity crisis, turn lesbian (nothing wrong with that, but Hollywood is a cesspool of weird and dangerous ideologies), do drugs and the like. You should trust me when I say that at that point, you will not be able to support her no matter how hard you try.

I have watched this song over 30 times, and still haven't been able to go through that last chorus and runs with dry eyes :). In my ears she is the best female singer currently alive. Maybe even in recorded history. And yes, i do compare her to Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and all the other Greats. She fully deserve to be put on that level. Your reaction is pretty much exactly my own when i saw her the first time. And "No words" is a perfect way of describing it :D. There are good, there are great, there are even exceptional and Legendary things this world has to offer. But she goes beyond all those categories in my book. Some things cant be put into words becasue some things transcend our fabric of reality, and that is what she does. Magic is the only word that can even remotly resemble how i feel about her musical talent and voice. And not only is she talented, she is beautiful aswell! And from what i have seen and read about her, she seem to be an extremely kind soul. How can we not love her!
