It's really interesting because I'm completely in love with her singing and have been digging through a TON of stuff from her on KZbin. But if you go back to when she was 17 and first competing on talent shows in The Philippines, she wasn't like this. She obviously was very talented, was beautiful, and had that same adorable energy on stage, but there were flaws in her singing and you could hear her off (pretty off) while trying to impress judges with her energy. Now you see her and she's perfected her technique, she's so much more relaxed and in control, and she has added SO MUCH amazing technique to her performance. In 6 years she's gone from someone good enough to make a contest there to someone who has legitimate claim to have the finest voice on the planet. That's a LOT of hard work right there. She makes it look easy, but I'm blown away by how much she's improved and still maintained that love of performance.
