Chester was amazing.. I can’t really describe how his music resonated with so many. His death was tragic and I cry every time I see a LP video

Linkin Park was such a huge influence on me as a kid. Grew up in the 90's and saw them in 2001 as my first concert at 14. Seeing Chester always kills me.

Such a good song. I always felt like its about an abusive relationship, where one person is trying to change the other person into what they want them to be, without letting them be their own person. I know that Chester grew up with an abusive father, so this could fit into that situation as well & may very well be what he was thinking when writing the song.

As an older man now I hear and watch this and realize that he was crying for help and his music was the only way that he knew to seek that help. If you are out there and having feelings about hurting yourself please get help, the world is a better place with in it.

I couldn't pick just a few songs from each album, especially not from their first two albums and their fourth album; those to me are just good from start to finish. You could also consider listening to a live performance, rather than only going with the songs with music videos. "A Place For My Head" Live In Texas is amazing! Looking forward to seeing more Linkin Park reactions, no matter what you chose to do ❤

l always have a hard time listening to this song! It reminds me of all the hate my stepdad had for me! l realized it wasn't me he hated it was himself!!! No matter how hard he tried he never broke me!! After my mom passed , l never saw any of them again. l was the stepbrother and stepson. with my mom gone l was no longer relevant
@RNDReacts3 ай бұрын
I'm sorry that you experienced that! I think it's fantastic that you realised that perhaps he didn't hate you but most likely hated himself. Many times when people aren't happy / fulfilled within themself they will project it on those around them, even those who they're closest with! It's a shame that you had to experience that, and I'm awfully sorry that your mom passed! But I'm glad that you don't have to experience him projecting his own misery onto you anymore. It's great that you're aware of this as you will go on to not repeat the way he treated you. It's fascinating how music can trigger memories and take us back to good / bad places in life, I hope you're doing well now though Juan! glad you stopped by the channel
This generation doesn't listen to the lyrics, just a good beat to dance to
