FYI, that’s not V Gundam (I think there’s no V Gundam, rather Victory Gundam and V2 Gundam). That’s actually Nu Gundam from Char’s Counterattack. That’s not a v but the Greek lowercase letter ν. simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nu_(letter)

glad to see arc system works's knack for fantastic animation is present even in this early outing, at least. Same company that went on to do guilty gear.

ASW was all over the place in the 8-bit era doing contract work on all sorts ofgames. It took them a while to get their stuff together.

It's no wonder these games cost so much with Bandai just splitting the rights and the game makers having to pay an obscene license..... for games that would be on the old 8-bit system in 1992. I will say, the presentation on this game is fantastic, but it looks more upsetting than fun.

As someone else said that’s not v gundam that’s nu gundam (ν Gundam) the v is the greak letter the v2 gundam is in 4 and said show was not even out yet (it’s from 93)

I like The Great Battle III and IV. They're not spectacular but I enjoy them. I is trash, II is okay-ish, and I haven't played V.

Well, I have nothing to say other than it is a good looking game but otherwise it was that unplayable.

Never played this one, but maybe the power up on the other stages were all in hidden spots? By watching the review felt kinda bad that a good looking game that could have been a minor brother of Bucky O’hare, finished being that unplayable.

I love the great battle series on the super Famicom, and I d o own this one, but yikes I’m kinda glad I haven’t played it yet after seeing this; it seems interesting in spots but ultimately too frustrating and flawed to really be worth it, I guess SD Hero Soukessan is probably the better game
