Had one of those fridges. Its not a screen. Its a door that opens downwards to make a shelf, where you keep things like milk and OJ inside. You could pour milk in your bowl of cereal in the morning right at the fridge. Circa 1996 ish vintage.

Is there a way to find out who the family was that lived there and why they are gone? There must be a story behind this. It's filled with amazing furnishings and objects of art. Why is it so completely trashed...so strange...Please try to find out some interesting facts about the family, Rob. So glad you are back.

I know everybody has a story and it would be definitely interesting to know more about the people who lived there. I know if I left a home my photographs would be one thing I would never leave because sometimes that's all people have left of precious memories.

Same here! I peeped some photos and I was trying to get a good look at their faces. Like, who just leaves behind all that stuff??! Was it an illness that caused them to lose their home? Was it a foreclosure, was it something more sinister? And who goes in and junked it up like that!? Irks my nerves. I just wanted to go in and clean. RNK didn't check for lights or anything to see if the bills were still being paid. If the bank did take it, why is it just sitting there? I'd be doing research right now if they give me the address!! 🤪

This was a really cool explore! The detailed carvings on the handrail was incredible! The fireplaces looked amazing! I would really liked to have seen this house back in its day. It looked like someone may have tried to have an estate sale from the way that long table with the white cloth on it looked with items all the way down it. There was a number on the chair leg of the chair on that table, and it also looked like another number on one of the legs of the piano bench. I didn't know what to make of the clothes on racks upstairs. I think your guess was a good one. The small lift with the wrought iron was a dumbwaiter. It's a real shame this once beautiful home has been torn up by thieves and vandals as well as decay. Fantastic explore!

This was a beautifully designed and built home, and yes, that was a dumb waiter from the kitchen. The last time I saw a place this trashed, it had been tossed by narcotics officers. Clearly these people had an abundance of money, and enjoyed the good life. Given what is missing, it might have been seized as profit from criminal activity. A lot of that kind of thing was going on in the past two decades to a scale of stupid. I love the bones of this place, and money was not spared in its building. Loved the intro and choice of music. Keep being safe out there.🖤🇨🇦

On the refrigerator, that's not a screen, it's a separate section of the refrigerator for commonly used items, like milk or juice, it would help keep the main section of the fridge cold, especially if you have kids commonly getting stuff out.

You can really see the potential to that house. The woodwork is beautiful. Always sad to see so much stuff left behind. Sad to see the piano and organs left...I always wonder just why they left so much. I think that little gated thing in the kitchen might be a dumb waiter. Fascinating and sad house.

I remember watching an old movie ('30s-'40s), a comedy, with my folks about a rich family. One of their maids was French and called the dumb waiter "the stupid butler." I can still hear my mom chortling over it. They were very handy in very large homes of the wealthy. Stay safe.

What a find! Your filming and editing are spot on with this explore! All of the 'stuff' left behind is very puzzling, was it something beside a residence, maybe some kind of business operation run out of their home? or the family just accumulated that many belongings? Tree in the basement lol?! The mansion itself I agree was beautiful and you captured the highlights nicely!! 13:13 tho I was laughing!! I would say more than likely family couldn't afford to live there anymore and they got evicted by the bank, in many US States, its really harsh the way they do this, you don't even have time to gather any of your stuff, its out of the door with some police officers watching making sure you don't bring anything of value since its what the banks want to resell, but in 90% of the cases, they don't care about the house, they leave them like that.
@brucebeamon5460
@brucebeamon5460 3 жыл бұрын
It SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW for banks to leave homes in this state of ABANDONMENT IF they put families out they should HAVE TO repair ( if need be ) and then PUT IT BACK ON THE MARKET... I’m a BIG FAN of fireplaces TOO . Ideally I’d LOVE to have one in my bedroom . I’d settle for 2 anywhere instead of just the one , I wouldn’t buy a house without one AT ALL !

Beautiful home! Shame it is all left behind. You have great videos for sure!! Ahhh... another home with organs left behind. The one the other guy was near is a Hammond C3, which is a very sought after organ in the music world, the other one looks like a Hammond X-66. Both of them great musical instruments. The refrigerator looks like a very late model and looks like a touch screen model. It isn't that old at all, from appearance. The lift between the floors is, in fact, a dumb waiter. Great guess, Rob.

We had one of those refrigerators. That panel is actually a little door you open to access your milk/beverages without having to open the whole fridge. My parents bought that new in 1987 when we moved into the house I would eventually grow up in. The rest of the house almost looks like it was set up for an estate sale or something. Wonder why the property was abandoned? Beautiful home even with the decay. Hope someone buys it and restores it back to its original splendor. Cool explore!

That U-Force you found was a controller for hte NES that worked by IR sensors. Naturally it didn't work all that well!

Pretty good my video imo. Why people throw others' belongings is just straight up sad.

I’m surprised the state didn’t confiscate everything and auction it off. I mean; I wouldn’t want to go in and clean up that mess but, what a waste. Love all the wood panelling.

The state or more often city won’t auction property off unless the owner is delinquent on their property taxes. So, someone is either paying, or it hasn’t reached delinquency status just yet.

Matt Thom: too bad it has to get ransacked, we’ll, at least it hasn’t been vandalized or burned, like other properties I see on these sites.

Awesome I’m sure it was beautiful at one time but I don’t like when people go and trash homes like that I wonder what happened to the family 😎

Church owned house/thrift store. Looks an evidence tossed house after an arrest.

I agree looks like the stuff upstairs must be what the Church was using as a thrift store! Weird that it is up stairs, but there is water in the basement! Our church had piles of used clothes and shoes for the poor!! Wonder what happen its one of those places that Robb finds that turns into a great mystery!

Christopher Caprio I’m curious why you think it is a church owned thrift store.
