Excellent review. detailed and thorough. You answered all the questions I had. Opened Christmas morning and was curious about a few things and you nailed it. Good work

A belt is a tool to use not something to be relied on to do the work. People that think they know a lot and really know nothing about technique will think picking see up rounded is bad for your back....as Stuart McGill says....if done right your spine is actually supported against the weighted object you are rounded over....but everybody thinks they're an expert and can't even do the basics right but still chime in about what's right and wrong. This is a helpful review although hard to buy because never in stock. Obviously a preference but do you think the 100lb would be to light? I figure for the few bucks Mir get the 150 to grow into
@rnleopando8 жыл бұрын
i don't think a 100 lbs would be too light! you could potentially get more reps and more work with it. less risk of injury, i plan on getting the 100 lbs too

Do you think play sand would've been better?
@jamessjovall52714 жыл бұрын
FWIW no. The paving sand is thicker grain than play sand. It won’t leak as much. Play sand is super fine... leaks really easy.

They have play sand at Lowes near the lumber. It would probably be better suited for this task. Just a thought. Great review keep the content coming.

That is what I used and I prefer play sand to other types for sandbags

Sandbag since you can adjust the weight
@rnleopando8 жыл бұрын
sandbag is 1/3 - 1/4 the price of equivalent slamball. although check out Walmart, they have diamond pro slamballs for cheap. i saw a 150 slam ball for 180$ with free store pick up
@JoeCnNd8 жыл бұрын
Diamond pro bumpers are great for a great price as well since you bring the company up. I mostly buy rogue but that caught my eye.

Can you fill the bag less than the rated weight? For instance just fill the 150# strongman sandbag to 100#?
@rnleopando8 жыл бұрын
Andy Nguyen maybe use a lighter medium like mulch or a mixture. im sure if you plan ahead it would be very easy to do

Have you ever thought about getting the spud low pulley attachment?
@rnleopando8 жыл бұрын
no i haven't. i feel that bent over rows, dumbbell rows and landmine rows would be sufficient. the pull down is a hard move to replicate and i think the original pulley is great for that

Leo Pando dude your a beast! I ended up buying one in 150 because of your awesome review. I can't imagine loading this thing 100x. First time with sandbags and it is definitely way different than barbells. Thanks

What is wrong with placing the bag on the shelf, step back, and then pick it off the shelf and set it back down on the floor. Why only work your muscles one way? I see this with weight lifting all the time. The user drops the weight once it is up. Doesn't make sense.

You must live in a land locked state or your far away from the beach. I live 5 minutes away from the beach and I will never buy sand when I can get it for free. Even if you live in the Midwest in the mountains or in some desert there must be someplace where you can get dirt or sand for free. 😂
