I’ve been wearing my pair of Andreas boots for almost two years now and honestly they’ve held up pretty well through all the stuff I’ve put them through. So far this summer I’ve been working in the California desert and been wearing them everyday for the past 3 months in 115+ heat with some merino wool socks and I’ve never had any problems with them getting too hot even though my pair is black. In addition to that I also have walked over 200 miles along the coast, wet sand, rain, and there’s only slight separation on the toe cap, but only where the boot bends when I walk. I’m sure there’s much better constructed boots for the price of these but I really like how the Andreas boot looks like and how comfortable they’ve been for me, given that I’ve never gotten blisters wearing these.

LITERALLY tanks oh my gosh XD I’m glad someone got to put these through the ringer. Yeah I was saying the same thing, sure you can get better quality but these look so nice on foot 💦💦💦

Im a TTS mens US 8 for most of my shoes, and have 2 pairs of Neal by ROA one is 41 EU and the other is 40 EU, I prefer the EU 40/US7 for hiking. I just took them out to Sequoia National Park and they did great only issue is the laces are super long. The 41 EU is very roomy and there is about an inch of space from my big toe to the end of the shoe. I would like to get a pair of the Andreas boot and I have seen some pairs on sale for 160-240$.

Yeah I def had to get the smaller of the sizes too. Less slippage esp when I’m coming down from a hill. Im personally hooked I need more XD but you right maybe in the $200 range 🤓☝️

Been beating up those same Andreas for over a year. Lots of long hikes but mostly walking through light trails/city streets. The black toecap piece has begun coming unglues from the leather on both shoes. The foam inner at the heel has been exposed due to the thin lining material wearing away within the shoe. These are cool and look awesome but would not recommend hiking in them long term… good for here and there, like if you’re on a trip. My last pair of ROA Andreas lasted way better… was an older model without this newer black rubber toecap thing they’re adding now.

Glad you liked it! 🙇‍♀️ If I were you I’d get the 41. 41 will cover size 8-8.5 while the 42 will cover 9-9.5 which might be a little too big for you. Esp if you copping to hike you prolly want a tighter fit than looser

How do they fit in comparison to standard sneakers? (Nike, new balance, ASICS, etc) I’m a true 11.5-12 in Sneakers.

You should scoop the US11/EU44 if you can. I’m in the same boat I’m a 7.5 but I can rock sneaker all the way up to 8/41. EU sizing weird because they tend to not have half sizes so the US11/EU44 will fit 11-11.5. If you buy the 12/EU45, that will be best for ppl who can fit 12-12.5. Might be too big for you. Hope that helps!

@@erick_smells thanks bro. The sizing is hella weird. Some websites say 45 = US12 and others (the roa website being one) says 46 = 12. Have you found them to stretch and break in at all after some wear?

I like ROA for design, but functionality, they're not that good for hiking. I guess casual hiking in these is fine.

Damn that’s a bummer :/ these feel heavy duty but most designer shoes not really made to do anything outside of walking around I guess 😭 thought these would be different. Guess I’ll stick to my merrells 🤪

I agree. Sole is so big and whatever but I feel everything in feet- also find that my feet get quite sweaty as they have a funny grey material which doesn’t seem to do a good job of moisture wicking- but it could also be my socks I suppose? Brilliant boots though but not 100%

I usually got a US13 but the highest they go is size 12, do u think a size 12 would fit?

Sadly I don’t think that would work unless you like a TTS 12.5 or something :/ they might be too small for you if you TTS13

measure your foot. I wear 42.5 and it transfers to a 41

What’s up! I went TTS on both. Ima a TTS 7/ EU40. Sometimes I size up half a size in most new balance or Nikes, but for most designer shoes/boots I go TTS like in this case.
