It really isn't. Especially when they're mistaking you for a child. That never feels good and I don't know why people think that should be a compliment. For most of 20's I got mistaken for a teenager and it never felt like a compliment. Because it's not people saying "you look good for your age", it's "I can't believe you're actually an adult, because you don't look like one." Unless you're an actor that can leverage that to play teenagers even as an adult there's no real life scenario where that is an advantage.

Well at least flirting with an electrician can actually lead to something substantial (assuming he's not married). A lapdance in a club is just PAYING to get blueballed in front of your mates, and everybody seems to think that's some crowning achievement. It just depends on the club, the local laws, and of course what the dancer is comfortable with. They won't be shy in letting you know what's off limits. When in doubt, keep your hands down, and if its okay to touch something, they'll usually let you know (like she did to Numi).

I don’t think most clubs want you being handsy right away but if the girl says it’s ok then it’s fine. I’ve been to a club twice and it was different each time. First one the girls didn’t say anything so I didn’t touch but at the second place 2 girls were giving me a dance and said I could. They also offered a private dance where we went to a private section away from the club and I could do whatever I want (within reason). So it might be per club or what you’re paying for or just if the particular girls are cool with you touching.
