@@cloke3076 Thats honestly a really good way to put it. I felt like the political message they were trying to give was shallow, and some of the writing was bland. But i could also tell that this wasn't just some game made to deliver a political message, it was a passion project. It made me feel a certain way that very few games ever replicated, and even though i have my gripes with the game it is nothing short of art.

Same for me! Everytime I listen to this it gives me such "leave your old home behind for a better future" kind of vibes. Not as in moving away, but actually more like escaping from the horrible living conditions in your own country and leaving all your friends and family behind, knowing that you might never see them again.

The Game had a lot more potential then what it ended up with Although I appreciate they tried to keep it simple and the game is pretty good but they could have had much more of an epic ending if the 6 teens which we end up playing with were actual players and they could have met at the end for a lot of possible endings depending on who made it or didn’t make it across the border

You know how at the end of episode 9, the last episode, you end up in jail and wait out the remaining time till Election Day in jail? I kinda envisioned the other kids we briefly see and hear during that are other characters we played out that failed. And that the teens on Zoe’s side of the wall during the fight are the ones that escape

I was sooooo excited for this game, and after playing it i still am having a really good time but though I haven't finished it yet it feels like there is tons of missed potential here. If only the game was as good as this track....or the soundtrack in general! Still....so glad I picked this one up. Roadtrip games should be a more common genre and I just love the concept of striking it out on your own trying to survive and make it to your destination...

(I figure they thought gen x and z players wouldn't pick up on it, and I think they thought right....google brezhnev and you will see what I mean!) As far as a game tho, I have some recommendations for games where you travel and adventure...I've even played some up on my channel... -The Captain (I love this game. Just find my review on the Steam page of the game. The last time I checked, my review is the first one! (which im even a little proud of!) -Death Road to Canada (light on story but heavy on hilarious dialogue, updates in the game's content even now, great gameplay, lots of replay value, great music...just amazing) -Kentucky Route Zero is an adventure game that is fantastic! But dont expect to understand what is going on the first time through. -NORCO was also a really great game I loved that was just such a masterpiece! Anyway I hope that gets you started. If you're interested, I livestream adventure games twice per week (WED & SUN 8pm EST)...I also have a backlog of adventure games that perhaps you might want to try for yourself! Listening to this song while driving the backroads of a hot summer night, but the air is rather cool, is an experience. I have played quite a bit of this game now and it's AMAZING. Very unique. Like Life is Strange meets the Coen brothers. And the soundtrack takes me away from everything bad. People truly underestimate the value of driving to music at night, alone or with someone who enjoys the silence so to speak, just cruising without a care in the world.
