I was considering it for quite a bit and hearing the music again is what convinced me. I now have an all achievements 21 hour run.

Knowing what i do now i have a theory for part 2. Seeing those dark cyan vines in the corner of the screen tell me that the Dt guy (idk his name but the one who is practically god) realized he created Hate and it had infected certain individuals. With that he goes on a murder spree trying to rid people of the Hate.
