XGaster has to be my favorite villain of all time. The build-up for him was literal years long and so well-done and when I finally saw him in XTale, I was horrified in the best way, and in Underverse Season 2 he’s still just as good imo.

Yea about that, why sans of all people would decide to stand his ground like that and dust everyone? Like, i get it could have been chara's idea and influenced frisk on it and then they made sans do all this but then again, their idea was to make everyone recover their memories and willingly take him down, why did sans cause the end of his world? Why SANS? (I mean i get he of all people would be the one with the personality to pull this through and not make it look forced but what is his motive?) He stood up to everyone, damn even papyrus used his blasters (the purple ones with the scars i guess they are his since it was his arm going up before the blasters scene but they dont look to paps-like...STILL) Every single monter tried to knock some 'sence' into him eithier talking or kicking his ass but he still went for the kill and took chara's soul...

He did not support all this hatred to his father. And the second reason... He did not like the fact that in any case he would be controlled by someone. Same, I was thinking about some of the scenes, realized I forgot the logic and order behind them, then rewatched this whole thing in one go. Honestly, everything just hurts more all in one go cause you don't forget the context and subtle details in-between waiting for months or years. Wow, after 1 year, i finally understood what Ink meant in that first appearance. What he was talking about, was that he was trying to get in contact with the people who made all of the AU's of undertale that exist. When he says he tried to talk to "them" to keep going and remain motivated, they showed animosity towards it. They didn't wanted to hear any of that and said that he had terrible ideas. In this case, this could be represented as the creators of this worlds feeling embarrassed of being reminded of the things they made. And not wanting to continue the trend of making alternative universes. (Considering how the Undertale hype was dying). In that case... us... the viewers. We are seen as some kind of "gods", creators of realities in some way... but we are also, just passive viewers. This is just a theory tho, we will see what it truly meant one day.

It’s so sad that Gaster’s Mission for constantly overwriting went from loving Chara and Frisk and wanting the best for them to just wanting a perfect timeline to satisfy him and not even caring for the two children. its legit sad how these two children (xchara and xfrisk) have seen timelines vanish and appear infront of them and its depressing how every bit of happiness is taken away from them at the slightest making them fear the man who even created them because he can't just leave a happy timeline alone leave everyone happy even when trying to fight back it just leads in the same result "overwrite" the button is the cause of all this not even the button but ink's fault if he never showed xgaster what alternative timelines and universes are chara and frisk would've not suffered this much, plus its even sadder that xfrisk gets to watch the frisk that we know get their happy ending while him on the other hand gets none because just the slightest bit of happiness gets overwritten (also late, sorry)

Yep, Ink literally tore his own soul apart long before he got out of Inktale. We cam use flowey as an example. If you don't have a soul you don't have the usual capacity to have emotions.better known as a unfinished AU that an unfinished character, through some miracles became a finished character on his own. That is what Ink is. An unfinished character that became a finished character of his own which should not have been possible. He consumes the vials ot gain emotions, as the paint is what he uses to make AUs, so by consuming them the paint creates emotions in him.
