Road Infrastructure Upgrades! - Transport Fever 2

In this video we look at some more traffic issues and attempt to fix them for good.
I am using a few mods and assets so my playthrough may differ if you are playing with no mods.
The mods I use are:
More Industry Levels
Natural Town Growth
Fantasia Map Generator
Build with Collision
Better Roads
There are a couple other workshop items I use but they are mainly cosmetic/assets and do not affect gameplay too much.

Loved the episode. You seem to have a good grasp of what generates traffic and how to mitigate the issue. One observation regarding Winston-Salem. Great that you took the plunge into one-way street, but I would propose a different schema. I would make the big street right after the bridge one-way all the way until the centre of the city, effectively forcing most / all traffic willing to get to the centre onto that road. Then I'd make one of the big roads that hug the lake one-way leading from the city centre. This way you can make a one-way loop, while all the smaller streets shall remain two-way for in-city traffic.

That's a good suggestion. I'll keep that in mind for the future. Winston-Salem definitely proposes a unique challenge with its city center in such a difficult area to reach.

Planes!!! I feel like a lot of private transportation between cities could be alleviated by the use of planes even across distaces that seem to small to justify them

Thanks for this suggestion! I do have one plane route on this map and it has been a while since we have looked at planes. So maybe soon I'll look into adding more airports.
