Neat! I have a soft spot for ol’ Road Ranger & would have probably picked it up too. I assume the battery allows it to roll forward? Might be why the waist is stiff, to keep it from jack knifing while rolling around under its own power?

The batteries didn’t seem to make it do anything. I might take it apart and make sure the wires are connected properly.
