When I saw this on my recommended I was so excited to watch it. Started off great but immediately got sad because my brother and I loved this show. We always caught up the latest episodes together. If we couldnt, we would share our thoughts about it. Sadly he passed away in 2018 so I had this stupid goofy grin while I cried when I watched it. Naruto has a special place in my heart and im glad you and others got to experience such an amazing show.

I relate a lot. After a family member tried su--ide in front of my own eyes, which I prevented of course. I was so so so numb for such a long time. All the pain, but wouldn't come out at all. I cried watching Naruto's interaction with his mother Kushina and I felt so so much lighter. Been attached ever since. Things are a lot stable now but my love for Naruto remains same.

I’ve love Naruto so much, this series has literally means so much to me personally. This honestly spoke to me when I was younger and helped understood a lot of the feelings of loneliness I experienced when I was younger. After I finish the whole series I think I’m actually gonna rewatch it again or collect the manga. I have such an attachment to Naruto.

Ngl, I cried watching the video. I watched Naruto when I was a kid, since I was 6 years old. Getting to grow up with these characters has been an amazing experience and that video just brought back a flood of great, unforgettable moments that I'll carry with me for... well, forever. (In some cases, literally. I have Naruto manga panel tattoos 😅)

It is crazy to see that it's been 4 years since you finished Naruto! That felt like a lifetime ago and those were memorable times. So many awesome moments from Naruto and that journey definitely shaped your entire perspective on anime as a whole. I also agree about the Kaguya stuff at the end, that was an awesome fight imo. Seeing them doing this literally does hit nostalgia for me, i remember being excited for it to come to Cartoon Network, then watched it for the whole time it was on trips in all. The fights between Hiruzen Sarutobi vs Orochimaru and Rock Lee & Gaara vs. Kimimaro always get me, its not even Naruto fighting and yet you feel the intensity, and the openings are always the best.

ever since the first second i watched 'road of naruto' i've been looking forward to your reaction! i'm so excited to watch this video! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! oh, and i just wanted to add, since i always forget to say this: in the reaction videos, you always talk about how sasuke is too far gone, which is reasonable by itself, but not when you consider the case of gaara: gaara was MUCH more far gone. he was a mass murderer who killed people for fun and whom his family were the ones he wanted to kill the most. so if gaara wasn't 'too far gone', then why was sasuke? edit: your reaction didn't disappoint! that was fucking awesome!

first anime is hard to pin down, as i was a kid when Cartoon Network started and they had various english dubs/adaptations/mashtogethers through the years. Early on I believe Gatchaman was one, it's similar to Power Rangers/Voltron, but all the characters suits are bird-like. This was around the time or before Speed Racer. A little older, but I still think pre-Toonami, they had Ronin Warriors which I really really tried to get into but the show made no sense to my 7 year old self. Pokemon got huge, then I caught DBZ on Toonami shortly after along with Sailor Moon and Tenchi Muyo and Gundam Wing. This is when we got the internet at home and I started to branch out watching series, I remember having little 360p hardcoded yellow subtitled Dragon Ball GT episodes from Kazaa in the early 2000s. Anyway, haven't seen an anime in years, I think the last things I watched were a couple 2011 shows in 2016. Altogether, I'd say the first anime I sat down and watched specifically from first to last, in order, was Cowboy Bebop english dub. first one in Japanese would have to be FMA 2003.

Yes!! I get the hatred for kaguya and all that. I dislike it too. But the 3 of them coming together to take her down was amazing. I mean since become team 7 again against madara up till them taking down kaguya. It was great as hell to see them work together again instead of against each other

Naruto kind of lost me towards the end, but I still hold it dear to my heart. I hate to have any criticisms for this wonderful amazing tribute, but not putting any of the 8th gate Guy battle in it is a bit weird. Such a shining beautiful moment for one of the great characters. I've heard of lots of fans that consider Guy opening his 8th gate their favorite part of the whole series. It definitely deserved a little nod lol.
