I'm confused on how someone can have a warrant for driving while intoxicated. If the police knew that, wouldn't he have already been arrested?? Or does this mean he failed to appear in court after he bonded out of jail? But then the warrant would read as "failure to appear", yes?
@MomentoMori1776 Жыл бұрын
@@ZzzMMZzzHe said he bonded out when talking to one of the troopers. Most likely he bonded out and failed to appear to his court date, or violated the terms of his bond for it to be revoked.

@@MomentoMori1776 Gotcha. That makes sense, but I just thought that the warrant would read as "failure to appear in court" or whatever vs "driving while intoxicated". But maybe I guess that's just how they talk about things. Like the warrant is actually "failure to appear... for DWI" so they just say it's for the DWI charge so they guy is more familiar with what the "failure to appear" is related to. I had the same question on a similar video a couple weeks ago that no one answered about a guy having a warrant on "battery of an officer".. I was so confused because I was like how can he have a warrant for that... the officers would have obviously already arrested him. Thanks for clarifying. I just really can't comprehend why you would ever miss a court date for charges knowing good and well that ANY time you're ever pulled over for a ticket, drunk at bar where cops show up, just anything related to a cop showing up - you're literally going to be hands down arrested again no questions asked. Additional court, additional fees, additional bond. Like??

@samdefore2692 Жыл бұрын
You may think it was respectful but it was actually dangerous for the police officers… This stop was predicated on a armed individual who brandished a gun. The officer should not approach the car alone, instead wait for back up. One officer approach the passenger, the other the driver. The occupants told to keep their hands visible. Passenger on the consul, the driver the wheel. When exiting the vehicle both patted down. Instead he approached them alone, allowed them to move freely, neither patted down when exiting the car or when walking with his partner to his cruiser, she was allowed to put her hands in her pockets and keep them their the whole time. Since this was a detainment I would have thought hand cuff both as they exit the vehicle. To find out after reading the comments this officer was killed in line of duty. That ATF told him to initiate a stop, he didn’t assume a drug dealer on ATF’s was monitoring was armed and dangerous or didn’t wait or demand back up to initiate the stop. Very sad 🙏✝️. Police officers should not increase the risks to themselves all in the vain attempt to appear “respectful.”
