This game was great back in the day. One night my best mate slept over at my house and we hired a copy from the video shop. We took turns, and I figured that you could actually go off track in a race and NOT be penalised for it. I remember I took a Left instead of a Right on the first(?) track, turning onto the bridge. What actually happens, and I don't think most people realise this, is the entire game's tracks are all connected. I nearly completed a lap of the entire game in one run. I got as far as the crossing to the right side of the big city, before fighting with a cop and getting knocked into a car and dying. The whole thing took easily a good hour +. Great fun. Great and silly game!

Yes I did this with my friend too, we've found that the game is actually designed as open world somehow, it was totally fun to doing it, and another fun part was that the cops won't let you go, they get even when you off the race XD - so you have to stay vigilante all the time - unfortunately there is no secrets to be unlocked or to be found - something like Driver 2 (secret areas) - best road rash experience in my opinion - I had all Sega versions and this one just blew my mind - fact is I still playing it!! ;D

Best Road Rash ever - I even play nowadays on emulators! I was a Sega version fan and player - when I saw it, it just blew my mind. . Combo attacks . Set of weapons . Funny voice acting and taunts! . Awesome coop and multiplayer split-screen modes - like Sidecar! . Open-world inter-connected map . and an amazing track list to listen one thing that I really adore is the game has a good design on gangs - they are splitted by their fashion and style - Kaffe Boys with racing super sport bikes they look like some fancy kids and on the other hand, DeSades with cruisers (my favorites!) with a notorious style of motorcycle clubs - harsh, big and wild! Love it in every angle!
