Great stuff! Love the aggression and well done for getting yourself fit. Now get fitter. Cam Norrie is a great example of a player who got better on fitness. That's what separates players. 3 sets to 5 sets, stamina, resistance. You'll get there, no doubt.

From someone who used to play low level county tennis, so like to regard myself as a competent tennis player, the level of tennis you play at is crazy. The constant dedication that you have to put in just to compete in some of these tournaments is mental. Keep working hard and I'm sure you will find success on both here and on the court mate.

for the footwork drills, i would HIGHLY recommend that if possible, please do the footwork drills on a soft surface. it will not only force your legs to work harder but it will be easier on the joints which will help you get more on-court time that does not lead to injury

dude, there were some amazing slap points from you. much easier to do in a training day obvs, but if you manage to hit some in a tournament match, the opponent starts having to risk it way more so you might get more unforced errors from there. Keep it up! those legs are insanely fast!

I think we focus a lot on hitting the ball rather than reaching the ball well, we can swing the racquet well when we reach the ball well. Recovery time is very important rather than power, you should be able to recover before the ball bounces on the opp court except for the winner. ball depth and height anticipation is very important and we should be able to anticipate short ball very quickly.
@samuelfecteau70882 жыл бұрын
Love the video! Just a suggestion though. While doing your movement exercises you should be keeping your head up. No sense in keeping the head down looking at the ladder. try maintaining your posture and focus forwards! Keep up the great work!

Awesome video, I think this is one of your best so far, I like how you are so disipline when it comes to your S&C and Physio time. I think you should keep dictating with your serve plus one. In that match where you lost to the college guy you were being put on defense too early in the points and he was running you around so I like your aggressive tennis. Keep mixing in that high and heavy ball so your opponents don't get to used to the flat ball to their strike zone. Sorry for the long feedback, just trying to help :)

David Lloyds Raynes Park? Just recently joined there and looking to get back into playing more after I had multiple knee injuries when I was younger - let me know if you are ever short of a practice partner and need a light hit, happy to facilitate whatever drills you want to pratice :) Also good luck with the remaining tournaments this year - I am sure you'll get there soon! I remember playing my first and only future qualifying tournament around 10 years ago and suffered another knee injury right at the start of the match (very ambitious anyway with 0 training or coaching after university) - so absolutely fantastic to see you working on injury prevention exercises! It will be a very hard grind on the futures circuit as I am sure you well know but all the very best, hope to see you at wimbledon one day! 🇬🇧🤞🏆

the way you reached the ball (3:09 to 3:12) you don't have balance in your body when you reached the ball and also gave a clear indication on your shot selection to the opponent; with this style, you find difficulty with good ATP players
