When you aren't sure why the engine says a move was bad, you need to click "show moves" to see what it thinks will happen next

No idea if you'd even read old comments, but I just found you and I'm in the exact same position as this so super interested in your journey - BUT, I think the reason sacking the bishop to disrupt the castling was a good idea was because you can follow up with QH5 check then take back his bishop. Easy to spot after staring at the board for 5 minutes from the comfort of my armchair but lol. Trying to learn with you!
