For however long it takes I will be working towards touching 100mph and documenting my journey to becoming a professional baseball player. Hope you enjoy and stick around for the journey!

My son's a pitcher and when he misses up I usually have him ride out his stride longer so his arm has time to catch up. Try that with a more aggressive trunk I noticed your not really lowering your trunk much. I tell the kid's I train chest to ground. Loving the content and the hard work keep grinding 💪 it's nice to show people this doesn't happen over night. Another easy thing to do is line your arm up with the plate not your feet I see you stand in the center of the mound try moving to your left so when your arm comes around it's dead straight to the target.

This was very helpful for me to watch. I have the same pattern when I miss and the same problem with using the glove arm too much in the delivery. It's helpful to see how you are working through it and what I can try to help me. Especially splitting your delivery into each piece on the mound

This video is great! I always see your stuff on instagram and it’s nice to see what your full routine looks like put together. Hoping you can get your command issues worked out and keep throwing gas 🙏🙏

Up and in is rather common and is typically flying out or just not finishing. Low and away is the compensation because it feels like the arm isn't keeping up, so it ends up being short armed, and then the arm gets way too far ahead. That's at least how it goes for me.

You should see driveline or tread or something. They probably could get your command up big time. Love the content.

At what weight for the grip strength tester or how ever much does it drop for it to indicate to you that you gotta take it light for the day?

You mentioned that when you miss it's usually up and in, and I have the same problem. Usually when I miss up and in, its because my upper half went early, causing my arm to fly out. Something I do to fix this is to pronate my gove arm more, like a Edwin Diaz type motion, but maybe not as extreme. I like to feel this out during warmups, and it usually fixes my up and in misses, and helps me add some velo. Not sure if this just helps me, but it's something to try

Hey, I want to play baseball for as long as i can meaning college and hopefully even further. But the one thing that has been holding me back from really getting that edge when I'm on the mound is arm pain. I was just wondering, how do you deal with it and how do you think I could go about getting rid of/minimizing it. I know I'm a good player and I have the skill its just the mental aspect due to the pain and not being able to throw without my arm feeling like it's about to fall off half the time.
@wjc2157Ай бұрын
Where do you have pain? It might be mechanics related start their first, then get your self on a good arm care routine, cross symmetry’s recovery section is a good place to start, 4 way band pull aparts, JOBs things like that , scap pull-ups , scap push-ups, you can only throw as hard as you can decelerate so work on your decelerators which are your scaps

If I'm throwing 80 at 5 ' 10 150lbs at 15 with good mechanics. What lifts should I do to gain velo. I move well but I'm not that strong.

What would you say is the best way to improve accuracy?
@bxstify2679Ай бұрын
If you have good control of curve and slider a cutter may be worth trying as something a little harder to control in the zone

move more towards the first base side of the rubber, that’s a big reason why you’re missing in every time
@Fighters8-dp8fcАй бұрын
He more likely has internal rotation dominant hips, which isn't uncommon. Having the lead leg land a little more on the 3rd base side for internally rotated hips can be more efficient and consistent.
