Table tennis is such a mental game. I think its important to be in a good mood. My trick to being in a good mood is thinking about all the fun things I want to be able to do ... like a suprise strawberry smash or some very beautiful movement or response.

its really cool to watch all this aproach and even the mental side of the game, bcs at some point we all going through this, what i noticed a lot is your bh punch, so many off the table bcs its very hard and liner shot, wait for the ball and safly loop it is much more efficient, my coach always telling me waith more for the ball, dont rush it, and also i wanted to mention the equipment part of this sport, dont get into too much, rubbers and everyting is mb 10 percent of the effect, most of it is technique and practise,

Regarding the last match, I wouldn't be too upset about it. It seems to me that he had a couple of things in his playing style that just didn't suit you. It is very unusual to receive parallel shots in your wide forehand with a right to left curve. I'm not saying you couldn't have beaten him, but sets or 11 points are over quickly, and you just didn't figured him out fast enough. It happens. Very positive point in your second match: in the 5th set, after losing the last 2 being tense and tentative, you managed get back into it and end it with a nice series of point-ending smashes (and not just putting the ball back on the table with soft topspins). Overall, well done! 👍

You should try out a linear / non bouncy rubber. I think it helps with consistency
@limittless.3 ай бұрын
@@sheyooo what do you mean? A harder sponge?
@sheyooo3 ай бұрын
@@limittless. basically non tensor rubber, yeah harder sponges are usually more linear, but i dont think it’s exclusive to harder sponges. If i remember correctly you use tibhar EL P. It’s response isn’t linear

@@sheyooo thinking about MX-P tested them lately, someone had them on the same blade I use and for the time testing it felt quite good.

@@limittless. MX-P is the exact opposite of linear / non bouncy. Have a look at Tibhar Hbyrid MK or Glayzer 09c for example, or most hybrid rubbers to be honest :) I improved a lot switching to those rubbers having less catapult effect

@@MrMagJon ok, I’ll start with the Mx-p now bc I already have them. I have a spare racket now so I can run some testing with that

Wow Wow Wow, your first enemy was just "good" because he had hell of illegal serves. Oh my god I would be so pissed. Every ball is not even thrown high and played out of the hand. No wounder you take so much errors in the receive. Your mental strenght is huge!
@limittless.3 ай бұрын
@@Koehler1909 yeah that’s happening a lot in the league I play too! It’s crazy but I made peace with it.

You seem to have lost some energy at the end. Get enough food? Maybe even a change of shirt and socks would help between matches. On the table tennis side, I think you are ready to start adding a backhand loop, against these slower balls to your backhand. A little more spin to get the ball on the table.
@limittless.3 ай бұрын
@@wilkinru yeah definitely, sitting there for many hours, getting up early, always cooling down for an hour and then play again is not easy.

@@limittless. Been there my friend. I don't know how to handle that one either still. Let me know if you figure it out because it's a big part of these events.
