@@ChaniJapan i'm going to be homeless soon in Canada, in about 8months, i am seeking to live anywhere in the world right now that has a job for a TEFL english teacher, no degrees though, and i just wish and dream of owning my very own home with low annual property tax, i discovered japan by randomly surfing youtube for travel, What can i do as a 52yr old, almost broke canadian to go live and work in japan, and buy one of those akiya houses? My dream would be live in rural akiya house, near ski resort, and just teach locally or online, to supplement income to pay for utility bills and buy food??

Having grown-up in the automobile business in America I tried to explain it to friends in the auto business many years ago but most people here can't really imagine it. The wood trim option is quite tastefully done and adds a bit of uniquness to the vehicle, perhaps 'Woody' might be a name to consider? Also, it was interesting to see you using you Honko for the purchase. Decades ago I found some things in Japan could be challenging without one. I half expected that by now Honko might have been replaced with some digital ID, but I quite like the tradition and concept of Honko, and was thinking that a short video about obtaining your Honko might be interesting for viewers of the channel.

I think the meaning of customer service means very different in Japan, compared to that typically seen in North America where once you signed the purchase agreement, you would pretty much become a stranger. There are YT videos of how good/amazing post-sale services offered by Japanese carmakers/dealers are. Chani's 1000-km service check is already scheduled.

@@qtdcanada In the US, it really depends upon the price of the vehicle, unfortunately. I you purchased a BMW or other luxury vehicle, your 1,000 km service check would also be scheduled - you would never receive flowers. If you purchase a lower end car or a used car, they'll work to help you get the best car for your price range but service typically ends once the agreement is signed, particularly if you purchase a used car. You would only be a complete stranger to low end used car dealers or after several years have passed since the purchase.

On my camper van the fly net zips from bottom up so you can tie sides back when screen is open for easy loading/access through tailgate. Cars name: “Freeda” as she gives you the freedom to go anywhere! Congratulations!

We've been planning on moving to Japan for a few year's now, which I really want to do, but I've always been a bit worried if I can adapt to living there because of my age - but you've given me the confidence to go for it! We're gonna move hopefully early next year 👍 Btw, we visited Wakayama last year and think it's great. Wakayama castle is really nice and we stayed 4 nights close to Shirahama beach, so we swam every day and the water and sand were really clean. We did snorkeling and saw loads of different fish. Have you swam there yet? 😁
