OMG that setting is so anachronistic and stunning. A photog's dream. It's like watching a classic chanbara genre movie and you expect to see a ghostly figure of Lady Snowblood walking with her parasol.

You studied abroad at a Japanese university and further refined your Japanese, which you had studied for some time. Your Japanese seems to be as fluent as your native English. I envy you greatly, as you seem to be able to blend into and enjoy the two very different worlds of Japanese and English without any sense of discomfort.

WHAT WHAT WHAT; 11 minutes of Sarah adventures?!?! It looks absolutely stunning there. The scenery everywhere in Japan is out of control, plus we have the gorgeous Sarah guiding us around, what a treat! Those old post towns have so much character, I hope to visit one when we eventually make it out to Japan! Thank you again for sharing all of your travels and your experience exploring Japan can’t wait for the next!!

Thanks for being our Narai Juku tour guide. This is my first time tuning in to your channel. I see you on Tokyo Creative a fair bit, but I don't think you talk as much there. It was nice to see more of your personality. I miss Japan so much! I lived in the Kansai region for several years in the early 2000's. Your channels all give my my nostalgia fix.

I recall an anecdote about how Ivica Osim, who came to Japan as a member of the Yugoslavia national soccer team in the 1960s and was walking around Tokyo, was surprised to receive a mandarin orange from a strange old woman.
