Cutting Instructions
From Fabric
• A: cut four (4) 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” squares
• B: cut three (3) 3-7/8” x 3-7/8” squares
• C: cut three (3) 3-7/8” x 3-7/8” squares
• D: cut one (1) 6-7/8” x 6-7/8” square
• E: cut two (2) 3-7/8” x 3-7/8” squares
Sewing Instructions
1. With RST, take one (1) B square and one (1) C square, draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of one square from one corner to the other. Sew a ¼” seam on both sides of line. Cut along diagonal line. Press seams. Make three.
2. With RST, take one (1) A square and one (1) B/C unit, sew a ¼” seam along one side. Press seams. Make four.
3. With RST, sew one (1) A/B/C unit to one (1) A/B/C unit. Press seams. Make two.
4. Trim to 6-1/2” x 6-1/2” square.
5. Take the two (2) E squares and cut diagonally from one corner to the other. You’ll have four (4) triangles.
6. With RST, take two (2) E triangles and sew to the C of one (1) B/C unit. Press seams. Make two.
7. Take D square and cut diagonally from one corner to the other.
8. With RST, take one (1) B/C/E triangle unit and one (1) D triangle and sew together. Press seams. Make two.
9. Trim to 6-1/2” x 6-1/2” square.
10. With RST, sew one (1) A/B/C unit to one (1) B/C/E/D unit together. Press seams. Make two.
11. Sew rows together. Press seams. Trim to 12-1/2” x 12-1/2” square.
12. Go make more!
