Tip both for yau and for begginner's: to not hold white on the side when pairing edges, instead put it on bottom. If you can't look ahead as well by that then to that but also try to put the first 4 pairs on bottom. Answer me if it got confused. Edit: 2:25 yeah, the secound tip should pretty much help because of less spots to look pieces for.

5:25 it does recons (recontructions), times the solves, tells the tps, how many time you spend on each step, removes pickup time so you get an unrealistic prespective of your times, gives suspicious scrambles and let's you compete online with random people. The suspicious scrambles aren't a problem because cstimer supports smart cubes tho, but if you use cstimer you don't get those other stuff.

okay so my tip is that you should also practise bigger cubes like 6x6 and 7x7 because there are more colors on it and you will be better at recognising the pieces better then also practise 3x3 more so at the last 3x3 stage you will solve it much faster and the question is: What cubes do you use and whats your pb on them? If you want a cheap but good 5x5 choose the mgc, if you want a more expensive one choose the x-man hong or the gan.

I would start by using yau, it is way better than reduction, and once you get better at it, start using the Free slice method for edge pairing

If you want a buget magnetic 5X5 is the meilong M is very good, but if you want a 5x5 over 20 dolars we have the Mgc 5x5, or even if you want the best 5x5 in the market we have the X man 5x5 , and the Gan 5x5
