I have a eight year old son and he only likes triathlon because of you, you are his favorite triathlete! I had never watched a triathlon race or an Ironman triathlon before 2021 Ironman Cozumel, now I see the reason why my son admires you so much! Thank you for being a great role model for him to look up to!

Not really. Have a look at the adjusted numbers (Thorsten Radde/PTO) due to optimal conditions. And never forget, that an easy swim has an huge impact on running performance in a long distance race. This was a great performance for a first timer, no doubt and KB is an incredible athlete.

I've been waiting for a video of your race cause I haven't seen any of it. Can't believe the time you done with the rain and a pit-stop on the run. Great effort, all that work you've put in paid off. And good on you for sharing your time with the people at the finish even though you might have felt wrecked. You're a great athlete and a great bloke.

Hi Christian and congrats for your performances, I am following you on youtube from the island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean. I have a question: why are you using the metaspeed asics now rather than the Nike, do you have done some testings or is it your personal feeling ? Thank you for your answer

I am a triathlete from Poland, and I have a question. If I am in the elite group, then would there be a higher chance of me qualifying for the Junior World Championships in a few years or for the league of the best junior athletes that train for the Olympics ? There is this league in the United States that has the best triathletes in the country, which then are training for the Olympics. I saw you racing in the Daytona Challenge 2021, congratulations! Good luck for your races in 2022

Actually what convinced me that you’re doping is that you won Daytona only 2 weeks after this race. I don’t care who you are- you don’t go win a major triathlon 2 weeks after setting a WR in the Ironman.

8:19 C'mon man that was the worst doping defence I have ever seen. You really expect people to buy the bullshit that Norwegian athletes are just 'better' because of their training. There is a 'league' above the pros. Yeah right.

Doping isn't needed, if the course of the "world record" is waaaaay to short like here in Cozumel. Still a incredible performance, but no new era for sure. Not after one single race. Do 10 races with 2:35h marathon on a valid course and we will see

Such a SECONDARY event. I could see if it was in Frankfurt, Nice or Hawaii. Come on in Mexico. What competition you had? Who measured the course? It is NOT going to get any value from holding the record in a secondary course sadly. Nice run, but question the meaning in going for the record in such an event. YOU are NOT going to get many accolades as a result sadly.

Such a stupid comment. He was racing the clock not the field. If he had some competition he could likely have gone faster. There was always going to be doubters, I mean who does a 7:21 at first attempt!? Appreciate greatness my friend.

IM courses are so different it's hard to compare times. Cozumel is a comically fast swim (10 minutes) with the new course and the bike ride was 114 miles when I did it.
