Thanks for posting. When I was a kid, (in the early 70s), the end of Williams Blvd. by the lake was a shell road. The lake front itself used to be a lonely, desolate place. They've really done a great job of sprucing it up!

I grew up in Metairie in the 50's, 60's and 70's. In the early 60's, Williams was just a 2 lane rock and tar road with pastures on each side from the St. Charles Parish line east to the first canal . Ran beagles near the lake and parked with my girl at the end of Williams that was a boat launch at the time. Time sure does pass.

I think I see the Darrow’s diner from Unhinged (2020) on the left side of the screen at 2:20. I mean the former Franny's Place Family Restaurant. I think it’s gone now.

At least you can re-visit the house you grew up in. I lived @ 3016 Colorado Ave. The airport bought our house in the early 90s and tore it down. Now it's a CarMax. That old neighborhood wasn't much to look at, but I miss it terribly! Yes, Kenner is not the same, but I still love it. I've lived here pretty much my entire life and I still do. I do my part to support the local economy by buying @ Kenner establishments, (which isn't always possible). A Yel....where are you now?
