All marginal lands along NLEX should be planted with marriga (malunggay), corn and eggplant. The water-logged sections could be planted with kangkong and water taro (gabi). Some areas may opt for community garden of trellis plants like bottle gourd (upo), amargoso, squash and vine tomatoes. Every 1 km. break could be planted with "fire tree" and bougainvillea. The center island can be planted with gumamela (hibiscus) and be maintained to a height that would be enough to block the light of the vehicle in the other side. The barangays may volunteer/request the local government for the utility and managment of the land along side the express way, the local government shall coordinate with the DOT or whatever national government authority for the agreement and official mandate.

desi derata speaking of that, I was in the Philippines April to May 2019, on this same route but I was driving the opposite directions when I fell asleep on the wheel, luckily my brother on my passenger side woke me up. We would have been dead. It was nighttime too. I was probably too tired to drive for almost 5 hours and wasn’t sleeping well during the duration of the whole stay in Philippines. Glad I am alive today and back in the US. 🤣

Legally, you cant. But since you will not be checked, you can. (Wag ka lang magkaroon ng violation kc for sure impounding ang bagsak ng sasakyan po. Hehe

iwas problema na lang na wag try. di ko lam kung pwede ba sa expressway yung setup ng LTO na student’s permit pero may kasama ka na may full license. pero para safe, let someone with a full license drive na lang kasi ang OA ng multa sa mga expressway tapos lagi na lang sa central office ng LTO kukunin yung lisensya. :)
