Agree, This area is supposedly a Banana Plantation owned by a prominent family in Davao City, and was develop my Sta Lucia Development. Until now, Only a handful of establishment was built, A Hotel, Crocodile Park and A school, then others are medium scale restaurant.

unsa gyud dahilan ngano walay nagtukod diha mga office building, condominium...gawas lang anang sotogrande hotel...naunhan pani siya sa LPU...didto naanay mga condos,school..

Maybe because the developer need to develop a more comprehensive mix used development, For now this area is a place for locals to have a recreational activity. Which is good because it make this place ideal for picnic and outdoor sports and jogging.
