If you pay for your meal, they have a obligation to make it as you want it. People have screwed up my custom orders that I sometimes even pay extra for far too many times. They can be sure as hell that I'm going to call them up and be pissed if they screw it up because I am the one that will have to wait extra time while they're just doing a job where they get paid the same amount of money whether they remake the meal or not. So for them it's not a loss in any way, but for me it's time consuming and I won't be able to properly have dinner with friends or family that I came with. They should feel ashamed for screwing it up, not get pissed because I call them out on their obvious mistake that stemmed from their ineptitude.

The best part about this video is the fact that he nailed the french toast toss and catch the first time with ease, meaning he has probably been at it for years.

Managed restaurants for 25 years and although I had some crazy, jackass customers, I never stooped to screwing with their food. I only caught one employee over the years tampering with a customers order and he was out of a job about 30 seconds later. It's just something you don't do if you want to call yourself a professional.

I've worked in restaurants most of my adult life I have never seen anyone mess with anyone's food. If your complaint is legit (I asked to not have powdered sugar and this has powdered sugar) complain away as long as you are polite and understanding. No one should fear that we would mess with your food because sent something back. All we will do if you deserve it is talk a lot of shit about you behind your back and probably make notes about you for future reservations. So if you are a dick and come back we will know.

I'm way off base for a comedy clip, but anything you can easily make at home for 1/3 of the price, I wouldn't order in a restaurant...Grilled cheese, BLTs, French Toast/Pancakes, etc... Just buy a loaf of bread and a dozen eggs for less than that single order and make the shit at home... oh yeah, and UNLEASH THE FURY!
@thequintessential55038 жыл бұрын
+Being Kiel Frieden yeah also because the waiter/waitress would spit on your good or shove it in their pants like the waiter did in this scene

Well, mostly because I'm a cook in real life (never do this sorta thing.. Don't want that kinda food karma!) so if I could buy a French toast breakfast for $6 or a loaf of bread and a dozen eggs and a gallon of milk for $6, I'll make my own French toast 12 times for that price! Keeping it cheap and keeping it real... But really, Road Trip is a great movie :p

Not funny if you are on the receiving end. True story-my friend ordered a quarter pounder burger at McDonalds drive thru. As he received the order my friend noticed one employee in particular was sniggering and laughing. My friend was suspicious and drove around to the front of the restaurant and lifted off the top of the bun and on the burger was a large glob of spit. They picked on the wrong guy, my friend ran into the restaurant and vaulted the counter and pinned the guy who had been laughing against the wall. After he was told what had happened the manager fired the guilty employee on the spot. This happened in 1984 in upstate NY.

I usually have a sick sense of humour, but this bothers me on so many levels. The problem is that this kinda thing actually happens. Some people are diebetic or have allergies or are sickened by the sight of blood in their steak etc. They are not having a go at You for the hell of it, they just can't eat certain things. If you are handling and serving peoples food, you are in a position of trust and responsibility. To intentionally do something to someones food is really low.

Yup. Not to mention that if there's a special order, it's the employees fault and their responsibility to fix it. I can't even count the amount of times people screwed up my special orders that I even paid extra for, giving me the standard crap. Getting pissed off because the customer complained about something caused by their own ineptitude is just retarded, it's not as if the employed guys lose anything since they'll get the same pay anyway and they will also work the same time, but the customer will have to wait which can screw up later plans and make the dinner more unpleasant since your friends or family will be eating while you're waiting for them to fix their mistake. There are times when the customer is in the wrong though, like if they complain without a special order or if they're just being mean without a reason. In this case he was just asking nicely though :P

I don't find this part funny its very serious. I had a cousin who contracted hepatitis from a restaurant and had to get a liver transplant. I think you should be put in jail if you do shit like this. Its no different than poisoning someone's food.

I know this is just a movie, but this is extremely disgusting and uncalled for and if I were the manager of the restaurant and if I caught him red-handed putting his customers' french toast in his balls and his ass before serving back to that customer, ........ first and foremost I would very ULTIMATELY FURIOUS 😣😡😤,then they're two ways that l can discipline him, either suspended his ass without paying for a week, or I should fire him right on the spot. Because, I for one love pancakes ,but when l go to IHOP pancakes, it is the waiter or waitress job description to serve me well, if I don't want it for any reason, I ask the waiter to fix it in a professional mannerable way. And to make sure to get it right. But in this movie , I would be very PISSED OFF! Prompted me to to think twice, the next time I go to any pancake house. But in reality, I go to IHOP pancakes, and they're no problems. The food service where I go to, serves me right with courteous respect. Thank you for the upload video anyway 🥞🍳☕

I love how people are actually getting butthurt, thinking this happens all the time before they get their food. I'm not saying that this has never happened in the history of anything, but this isn't a daily thing in America lol
@SvenskaIdioterna7 жыл бұрын
It does happen all the time here and there, even if it's probably not something that usually happens in the same place several times in a day or anything like that, unless there's some seriously retarded employees there. Who knows, it might be you next. However, it's probably getting more and more rare for something like this to happen, there's more and more monitoring with cameras and stuff going on and the backlash from doing something like this is just not worth it just because they didn't like a customer, so it shouldn't be a problem at more modern places unless they have big blind spots. It's better to do something more subdued, like not adding enough of a certain topping or something if they really feel they HAVE to get their unjustified revenge or whatever they call it.

It certainly happens daily in America. Not daily in any given restaurant, but I've seen it quite a few times. I've worked in restaurants for years and have seen a lot
