Road trip from Hyderabad to Omkareshwar Indore Ujjain | Via Nanded | NH 161 | Akola | Baleno-Part 1

Travel Date - 19th October 2023. We are on a road trip to Omkareshwar Mahalkaleshwar and Grishneshwar Jotirlinga, In this video you will watch our travel from Hyd to Omkareshwar. We started at 4 Am from Manikonda Hyderabad reached Omkareshwar at 4 Pm. Google maps was showing 16-17 hours, but we took 2 major stops one was for 15 mins bio break and another was for 40 mins lunch break. We carried our breakfast and lunch so that saved time. I must say the road is good but the last stretch of 100 Kms i saw a lot of diversions due to double lane expressway construction.

Go via Nanded Akola You can easily reach Omkareshwar and stay at night

Hi mam we are planning from hyderabad to ujjain . How is the travel experience and can u suggest any good hotels with car parking near temple... And from hyderabad to ujjain u can choose nh44 right.... ohkk first u went to omkareshwer so that is why u guys used nh165

If you take NH44 then it will be a long route via Betul instead we took NH161 via Nanded and then we reached Omkareshwar. In omkareshwar we stayed at Manyavar palace which is just 5 mins away from the Temple. From Omkareshwar we went to Indore which is just 78Km. We did not stay in Ujjain instead we stayed in Indore and did a day trip to Ujjain mahakal as its just 55km away from the Indore city. 19th October 2023. Roads are good till Akola, after that there is new express way construction in progress, so there are a few diversions but manageable!

It's 700 odd Kms. Google's average speed is 55kmph ...You can easily maintain an average speed of 60-70kmph. Don't blindly follow Google, start early around 3:30 AM ...carry food, avoid unnecessary stopages. You can make it In 12-13 hours easily

Go via Nanded Akola Khandwa ..Hyderabad to Nanded you can maintain 100Kmph

Indeed a record😊 start early, pack food, don't give unnecessary breaks, you cam reach early before sunset ! There was one checking at MP Maharashtra border due to election in MP.

You have to park on the road, the space is allocated to the hotel. So parking should not be a problem.

would you recommend driving in a sedan, you mentioned potholes. how much of KM was the road bad?

No issues with Sedan, Just drive slow in bad stretches. Road was bad for the last 80Kms
