Road Trip Mini Clips, Gerlach, Empire and Pyramid Lake, NV

In this episode we are doing something a little different than usual. Last week we took a day trip out to the Black Rock Desert in Nevada (home of Burning Man) to check things out. We took a bit of video and wanted to share it with you.

I am not sure it's a huge issue. Gypsum isn't highly valuable, and the winds in Nevada are relentless.

Not all of the houses were empty. If you aren't aware of Empire's history, read up on www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/nomadland-film-review-venice-2020 Basically Empire is a company owned mining town, that was abandoned, and has now re-opened. They are slowly rebuilding the houses etc.
