Sun Joe solves our problem! We needed a way to wash hands, vegetables, cutting boards, and knives on our cross-country road trip that requires no power but gives us more oomph than traditional gravity-fed camping water systems. Sun Joes’s 24volt battery-operated shower/hand washer/pressure washer is perfect.
The flat 2.5 gallon tank never is a tipping risk, and it slides easily under the rear seat of the truck. Flip a switch and the 20’ hose is charged and ready to go. We do need to add a small hanger of some sort for the hose end so it just hangs out on the side of the truck when we stop for meals.
The battery seems to last a long time, and it’s the same battery we have for the Sun Joe tire inflator, so thankfully we have an extra if needed.
There are two included tips--the pressure washer tip is similar in design to standard hose tips, as the tip can be tightened or loosened for a stream or a cone spray. However, the shower tip is what we will use primarily--it provides a nice, large downward spray that makes washing vegetables and pans easy.
We are big fans of the Sun Joe wash station since it does exactly what we expect it to do and has a solid no-tip form factor. It’s perfect for our road trip truck!
