That river trail where Sylvie was swimming looks like a scene pulled right from Tolkien, absolutely magical. Glad to see you got to go swimming, what's a nature trip without a quick dip. A fantastic road trip with the best guide!

Missed hearing you say, "Hey everybody, Jason here". Nice relaxing video to watch with my morning tea . The river & waterfall are beautiful. Nice to see Silvina showing you the area. You will have to introduce her to some Canadian lakes & wilderness camping. Thanks for posting & stay safe!

It's funny, the habit of my intro and when I don't say it... my brain needs to fight to say something different. It would be very cool to show her a bit of Canada one day, I wonder if she would enjoy it.
@hrmacdonald44712 жыл бұрын
Most definitely she would enjoy a trip to Canada and a guided wilderness canoe trip by an expert such as yourself.

Planning a visit or moving to Mexico? Check out the Mexico Travel Journal amzn.to/3nTOSJO The Mexico Travel Journal is a small Journal Notebook I created for people planning to spend time in Mexico. More than just a journal notebook, the Mexico Travel Journal contains important information on travelling in Mexico like Tourist Card Requirements and limitations, Entering Mexico by Land and Driving Tips, as well as important Safety Tips. The Journal section contains a daily planner and a daily notes page with enough space for travel of up to 45 days. The Mexico Travel Journal also a valuable spanish phrase section with over 250 commonly used phrases to help you in your journey. Since Mexico is a country that uses the Metric system, I've also included several Metric to Imperial conversion charts for easy reference.

Wow! the scenery there is amazing. I need to add this to my list (ever expanding) of places to go. BTW.... I think you are getting better a pronouncing Queretaro.. I know it's not that easy.
@TrailguidePictures2 жыл бұрын
Haha, yeah I think I'm getting it. Although who knows, the locals are probably thinking I'm butchering it.

I don't know Jason. We got hammered yesterday with a snowstorm. Are 180 days enough? 😉😁👍
@TrailguidePictures2 жыл бұрын
Lol. No, 180 days are not enough but I'll be back for a spring canoe trip anyhow. Hopefully the ice is out.

Hi Jason. I have just watched a couple of your videos. They are really beautiful. So well shot. A question for you: if you were to buy a car to adventure in the Sierra Gordas, would you buy a truck - like a Nissan Frontier - or would something small like a Nissan Kicks be ok? It looks like your friends little Suzuki handles it well. Thanks!
@TrailguidePictures2 жыл бұрын
I'd buy an AWD like a suburu crosstrek or similar. There are some roads that are pretty rough. A truck is always a good option but for gas consumption I think something smaller is a better idea these days.

This is exactly what I wouldn't recommend tourists to do. It is okay in most countries, but Mexico is not one of them. The state of Queretaro is regarded as safe, but the neighboring state of Guanajuato is not.
