Worcester is a large town but it literally has that small town feel to it. Considering the fact that when I was at the shopping mall the people were staring at us.

Having grown up there, kids have much place to play. The TWO Boland Park sports grounds bordering Roodewal and beyond, are freely accessible. Fifty, sixty years ago, we also played in the streets. But don't err in saying there's nowhere else. The street is just convenient, right out the front door. No sweat.

@afriquelesud well said my friend and I have the same experience of playing rugby and football in the streets, was only highlighting the way we roll here. @@Allanstravels No. All I know is the ultra city moved and they built a McDonald's at Mountain mill

@@icohen1627 The name Roodewal comes from the farm that has been renamed Kleinplasie and that's how Roodewal, the township came into existence and was never a white area.
