Road Trip To Indonesia's Happy Village 🇮🇩

While in Bandung I heard about Ciwidey which was only an hour and a half away from the city so I decided to rent a scooter and get myself a cosy room in a quiet village resort in Ciwidey.
When arriving at Neo Scooter Rental the family was celebrating a birthday and invited me as well. I joined in on the fun for a bit to then get started on my road trip to Ciwidey Shine River resort.
When I arrived I did a quick room tour and started for a walk around the area. While walking in the village everyone said hello, literally everyone. It was such a joy to walk there!
I tried an ice chocolate drink, did some grocery shopping and tried local fried tofu.

With my KZbin videos I aim to show a different perspective than what most travel vloggers would do by interacting with people and really getting the local insights of the places I visit. No matter their social background I treat everyone equal. Sometimes this results in awkard conversations but I love it!

I think the green color comes from a plant called pandan leaf, which is commonly used in Southeast Asia to make desserts! Its effects: reduce liver fire, clear away heat and detoxify. It is said to cure gout (uric acid), deodorize and repel cockroaches. Although that room is small, it is well-equipped and the most important thing is that the surrounding environment is really great! The horns of those three sheep are so long, so amazing! Larutan Penyegar (with Rhino or 3 Leg Logo) is just like regular water but with some cooler substance, due to Indonesia having hot weather and people love to eat spicy food, It helps to heal inner heat, ulcers, sore throat, etc... There's also a canned version with fruit flavors, but the plain version is better because no sugar.

You are so blessed to be treated with interesting traditional snacks and food.😋Just a bit of drawback that English is not spoken widely but nevertheless the message does get through somehow.😂Those green fruits hanging by the tree are called papayas aka pawpaw.It's sweet and juicy with tiny black seeds inside once opened.The quiet resort is definitely a nice getaway for you.That elephant cooling water is for cooling down your body system to prevent any heatiness.We have something similar in Malaysia called Rhino cooling water too.Nice vlog again Tim and Have a happy successful year ahead 2024!Cheers 💕🇲🇾
