Fantastic...it will be nice to see that rig on the road instead of under the knife! I'm American but Canada is one sweet looking country.

@@BackCountryWrenching just finally figured out the water leaks and am now working on the power/solar. Should have that done in a few weeks then it'll be time to take it for a test trip! Pretty stoked.

If your driving past Williams lake you should talk to Dave from backyard prospector and get directions to the blue lake claim he highbanked a few years back, I own it now and would be sweet if you went and did some panning there, really good gold. I’ll be out there mid May

Sounds like a great trip! One of those on my bucket list. If it was en route I'd say do the drive between Likely BC and Quesnels (if I spelt it right) and check out Barker Ville

You planning on a diesel colorado? I'm hoping my setup in my 3.6L Canyon will still get 10-12L/100km. I'm doing my trip in the fall so no tourists, no bugs, actual night, the fall tundra colors and a decent chance of seeing the Aurora's. My truck is still under warranty so no slide in camper (gm never rated the colorado/canyon for a truck camper) or warranty is void. I have a contractor style aluminum cap i'm turning into a budget camper.

No diesels for me can’t justify owning one with the cost of buying diesel

@BackCountryWrenching plus they suck in the winter and then your dealing with the emissions crap. My 2022 gets better then 10L /100km in the summer and still gets about 11.5 at worse highway in the winter in 4wd with studded tires. Only at 18,500km's on the odometer.

You should allow more time for HW 37 in BC if you want to stop for anything. Like I told ya, that road is sh*t and you never gonna know if it's flooded or f*cked in sections.
