Poor dog looked dead on the floor for a second and that oncoming traffic! Still, I'd rather be there than in all these protests. That "looking for worms" reminded me of when I was young, my mother took me to go look at a house for sale on the water. She didn't know I brought my pole. Her and the realtor came around the corner and there I was, fishing off the deck with worms I dug up in the yard. Good times.

Back in 1970 a buddy and I camped in his 68' VW camper for about ten days on the Island's western end near Sante-Patrenille (sp?) before we took off for Hudsons Bay. Man did we have fun with the Franches! They treated us great. La Belle Provance Quebec!

I just love your videos Viva, I’m from NB, now in Westmount MTL. So fun watching your lovely family enjoy this beautiful country during this crazy time. Reminds me of all the great camping adventures I shared with my fam and kids ~ mostly traveling to Maine from NB to Bar Harbour. Godbless ❤️ beautiful people.

Thank you very much :-) we wanted to go back to deer Island this summer. But apparently we can’t cross the border into New Brunswick.

Viva Random ah yes, the “Atlantic bubble” the new “CheckPointCharlie” of the the East. Deer Island is amazing ~ I’m originally from Saint John so it was super close my entire life. Such a magical spot! What is your connection to Deer Island of all places? Super fan on your legal analysis too ~ great reportage. We’re neighbours I do believe my friend, lol ~ I’m like 5 doors up from the old Trudeau house. LoL small world.

The most optimistic thing I've ever heard spoken in my life "in the future they will be laughing at us because we drove into oncoming traffic"... I would bet that people from just a 200 years ago would be astonished by the absurdity of much of what we do today.

Not mud, clay. That's why a couple of Quebec towns slid into the river: the viscosity of too much water in clay. That was was fun watching the little one swimming in mud.

I love camping!! L'Île d'Orléan is such a beautiful place. Did you taste their strawberries? They are delicious!!! Women pay a lot of money for mud bath! Loll You guys are very brave to sleep in tents with 3 kids! Hope you had nice weather.

Cute and fun. The kids were priceless, though I don't recall ever getting quite that muddy. Scenery is beautiful and NO BUGS! Watching it was a fun way to wind down from finishing my last non-resident tax return for the City of Detroit (now retired). Not sure what kind of fish it was that you caught, but it did not look quite big enough for dinner. Keep up the good work. How far is Ile d'Orleans from the Plains of Abraham and is there any kind of historical site attached to the battlefield? Just curious.

I don’t watch movies much and today I decided too, I ended up yelling at the stupidity that was assaulting my senses and intelligence I had to turn it off even before it ended. I turned on KZbin and this was in my feed and made me happy. Peace!

Don’t worry, she’s alive. We just couldn’t take her. Per and poo does not translate well in a tent! But Barnie is the one on borrowed time if he doesn’t start behaving real better real soon.

Her: "This island has more churches than people." Him: "Is that true?" Her: "No." I'm happy to see the USA isn't the only place that saturated with fake news. Even our friend up north have to stay on their toes.
