The only time I’ve been down this street was two days after hurricane ida. Looked a bit different then. But the New Orleans area fared much better than I expected.

Yes, that was one of his houses. His primary residence until his death was on Lakeshore Drive.

@@bryonbiondolillo6545 probably not myth, although some of the stories seem unreal. I had a Sicilian uncle by marriage who was related to him. He ran one of Marcello’s many nightclubs back in the 60s.

Ever looked up who owns...like owns...the west bank? Marrero land. Look up who founded it. See, of course, his civil war history. Never changed hands. Just grew. Wonder who Carlos really answered to.
