Both Hawk and Animal seemed like really cool guys.... RIP Legion of Doom, I got into wrestling after their run, but I will say they’re still one of the most iconic tag teams in the business.

So sad that they've both now passed. You know we all moan that wrestlings boring today compared with the attitude era but if the truth be known that era & the era leading upto it has taken a lot of wrestlers lives far too early. Yes I agree wrestling is too stale these days but let's never return to the days when as Jake the Snake said "drugs were a necessacity". Thank you for the memories RIP Road Warriors 👍🧡

Not sure when this video was made, but Animal looked great for his age. I remember watching these guys when I was a kid. I'm always surprised to hear when wrestlers die young, the whole lifestyle must really take its toll.

“How hard was his passing on you?” “It ruined my ability to make top dollar in this business.” How was that the first place his mind went to? The money? Not the fact that he lost what was supposedly his best friend?

I think that so much happened between them, that it left no space for deep feelings.

Also no mention of the roids they both were pumped up on for decades. The guy was 46 when he died. Then what does animal die of? A heart attack.

Interviewer was expecting maybe a heartfelt answer to how Hawk's death affected him and the first thing he says is Hawk's death ruined his top dollar. How very Christian of him eh! Definitely don't get the feeling they were really close or brotherly, sounds like it was all business.

Obviously Animal didn't have a lot of respect for Hawk because if he did his reply wouldn't of been "it ruined my top dollar ect ect" Nothing else to say here, RIP to both Animal & Hawk.

I think also the steroids affected his heart. You watch the Vice documentary and see Mike's brothers and they are small guys, Mike was juiced to the gills
@jumbothompson8 ай бұрын
But Hawk was not a small guy. He was 6"3. Everything played a role. Just like with all the other wrestler deaths. You can only put your body through so much. It just goes to show you how tough these guys were. A regular person wouldn't last a year living the way they did.

It seems like Animal was more concerned with making $$ just by the things he said here but to be fair Hawk was more concerned with Drug's. Road Warriors are my #1 tag team of all time, every Saturday watching NWA on wrbs as a kid i would get so excited when they hit the ring!

Hawk held Animal back with his drug issues for decades. He lost Animal many opportunities. Listen to Animal talk about how Hawk fucked up their WCW deal. Animal finished the WWF run by himself. Hawk was a piece of shit. Joe is in Heaven right now Hawk is in Hell getting raped by the Devil, fuck y'all haters... bundle of sticks smh

Loved the LOD but when I asked him years back, why doesn’t he do any Christian events anymore,( to see what he says now that hawk can’t accompany him anymore), said “ I got many wrestling conventions and meet and greets”. Now I’m all for the money to feed the family but putting in the time for your faith and ignoring the money just once won’t hurt him, but I guess one now knows where his priorities lie.
