the rocks are called riprap. incase silt washes in there. there to catch debre

From what I saw on my way to town today, it looked like hard packed road bed, But it may have just been dirt. I'm not sure...

Probally was. After i saw close up could see they really didnt expand the gravel. Was enuf there. Prob playing catch up.

I wonder if they are goin all the way to 44 or just the county line? oh, I didn't listen long enough, I guess just to the county line.. if they leave that hump there you will need to say something to the highway dept. that'll be a bear gettin out of there with snow and ice on.

Yeah, just to the county line. I may end up doing some work out there myself. Just to get it done. I saw one house closer to town and they were making his driveway look nice ! Smooth & tapered, custom fit type stuff, King of upset me a bit. But he had a concrete driveway, & We all know that makes him more important, lol Thanks Neighbor

Hi Stewart, I'm not sure exactly why. There were 3 people killed on this highway last weekend, but the road being wider wouldn't have prevented those accidents. Maybe just to accommodate some of the big trucks that come by . It does need resurfaced, lots of chunks missing and rough spots. Thanks Buddy

Yeah, that makes sense. Dirty Windows LLC, lol I was watching the roller and the edge of his machine would actually teeter up and down because of the pitch of the road. I think if he'd been more aggressive with my drive it may have taken away from the roads levelness/smoothness. But they could have added a little more there and worked it in.

They need to put some rock on you drive way approach you need to call the the state or county or who ever funded the project , this is the type of work I do.what was the name of the contractor just curios if I ever worked for them before?
